At the end of this course, the trainee will be able to:

  • Describe the configurations of Nexspan S, Nexspan L, and Extension cabinets
  • Describe the Line, Trunk, and Processor cards associated with the Nexspan S, Nexspan L, and Extension cabinets
  • Describe the Nexspan Communications Server (NCS) and its use with the Nexspan S, and Nexspan L
  • Describe the acronyms used with the Nexspan S, and Nexspan L
  • Describe the Digital Terminal and IP sets supported by the Nexspan S, and Nexspan L

  • Sample Nexspan S, Nexspan L and supporting products networking illustration
  • Overview of Nexspan S, and Nexspan L IP PBXs, Processor, Common, Circuit, Trunk card types, and peripheral equipment
  • Overview of analog, digital, IP, and Attendant phone types
  • Nexspan S Hardware description including; Main and Extension cabinets, Processor cards and daughter boards, Common cards, Circuit cards, and Trunk cards
  • Nexspan L Hardware description including; Main and Extension cabinets, Processor cards and daughter boards, Common cards, Circuit cards, and Trunk cards
  • Nexspan Communications Server (NCS) product and feature description
