At the end of this course, the trainee will be able to:

  • Describe the configurations of M6501, Nexspan S, Nexspan L, and Extension cabinets
  • Describe the Line, Trunk, and Processor cards associated with the M6501, Nexspan S, Nexspan L, and Extension cabinets
  • Describe the Nexspan Communications Server (NCS) and its use with the M6501, Nexspan S, and Nexspan L
  • Describe the acronyms used with the M6501, Nexspan S, and Nexspan L
  • Describe the Digital Terminal and IP sets supported by the M6501, Nexspan S, and Nexspan L

  • Sample M6501, Nexspan S, Nexspan L, and supporting products networking illustration
  • Overview of M6501, Nexspan S, and Nexspan L IP PBXs, Processor, Common, Circuit, Trunk card types, and peripheral equipment
  • Overview of analog, digital, IP, and Attendant phone types
  • M6501 Hardware description including; Main and Extension cabinets, Processor cards and daughter boards, Common cards, Circuit cards, and Trunk cards
  • Nexspan S Hardware description including; Main and Extension cabinets, Processor cards and daughter boards, Common cards, Circuit cards, and Trunk cards
  • Nexspan L Hardware description including; Main and Extension cabinets, Processor cards and daughter boards, Common cards, Circuit cards, and Trunk cards
  • Nexspan Communications Server (NCS) product and feature description
 
Resources

Attendee will receive a CD package to include:

  • An Installation guide, a USB security key, and a CBT CD

Attendees must have:

  • One of the following Operating Systems: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
  • A graphics Card: supporting 1024 x 768 minimum resolution
  • A CD ROM drive
  • One available USB port
  • 30 Megabyte of available hard disk space
