At the end of this
course, the trainee will be able
to:
- Install the M6501, Nexspan S,
Nexspan L, and Extension cabinets
- Cable the subscriber, create
trunks, and TCP/IP equipment for
the M6501, Nexspan S,
Nexspan L, and Extension
cabinets
- Commission the systems by assigning
IP addresses, Key codes, and essential
database for basic operation of
the M6501, Nexspan S,
Nexspan L, and Extension
cabinets
- Build analog, digital, and IP
sets in database
- Assign analog and digital subscribers
with basic features, trunk to the
Public Switched Telephone Network
and implement the Emergency calling

- VT-100 Man/Machine Interface
setup and connection to M6501,

- Basic database commissioning
such as; password assignment, entering
key codes, setting date and time,
assigning system features, and
assigning IP subnet and gateway
- Description of IP phone set programming
- Description of PRI trunk creation
