| Objectives |
At the end of this course, the trainee will be able to:
- Define the hardware that makes up the AastraLink RP system
- Install the AastraLink RP software SP1 from the CD
- Add a phone and user to the system
- Add analog voice services using the RP 540 analog gateway
- Checking the Status of the system and reviewing event logs
- Review the Base Unit Properties
- Create / Restore Backup procedures
- Setup the following; Incoming Call Routing, Receptionist Properties and Configure External Access
- Upgrading to the Response Point system to Service Pack 2 (SP2) software
- Upgrade the phones to the newest firmware
- Add VoIP Voice Services

| Course Contents |
This WVT will introduce students to the terminology and concepts used in an AastraLink ResponsePoint system basic installation. Each lesson builds upon the
previous lesson in a step-by-step approach. This course is made up of several modules. The first set of modules start with a Network and Hardware overview.
The next set of modules focus on the software applications and cover topics ranging from software installation to configuring the system by adding phones,
lines, users and voice services. The next module goes into 3rd party equipment that is compatible with the Response Point system. The last module launches
and navigates the AastraLink RP Assistant application and the Web UI (User Interface). A Final Quiz which is graded and scored is the final module of the
course.
