At the end of this course, the trainee will be able to:
- Administer the ASP console in regards to password, menu, and log commands
- Describe station database tables, including FONE, LINE, DIRN, BTNS, and CLOS
- The student will utilize commands in class exercises to build, modify, and delete stations
- Identify different line types
- Install and troubleshoot call features
- Install and troubleshoot various feature groups

| Course Contents |
The Pointspan Station Database course provides a student with basic understanding of station database
components and features. This course is designed for Move, Add, and Change (MAC) analysts, field technicians, or any other person who will be performing
daily MAC activity.
- Students will utilize the ASP console to log on, determine command availability, and log their activities
- Students will use various station database tables, including FONE, LINE, DIRN, BTNS, and CLOS. The student will utilize commands in labs to build,
modify, and delete STE and ITE stations. The classroom will be equipped with STE, 12SD, and 30SD instruments. Students must be able to build and complete
calls between these stations
- Students will be introduced to the various line types, including Voice line, hotline, station status line, dedicated CO line, data lines, and time of
day restricted lines
- Students will be introduced to each call features. Among these will be call forwarding, hold types, abbreviated dialing, transfer, and hands free auto
answer. Students will implement these features as they build STE and ITE stations
- Students will be introduced to various station features. These features include intercom group, call park groups, meet-me conference groups, hunt line
groups, and hotline conference groups
