Training Policies
Please read these policies prior to registration. If you have any questions, please contact us.
This document represents Customer Technical Training Center policies and supersedes all previous policies published by Aastra related to
technical training.
Our courses are designed to improve job-related performance through solutions that involve the transfer of knowledge and skills from the
training environment to the workplace. The following policies identify key responsibilities of the customer or the student.
Prerequisite
Students must ensure they have the proper prerequisite knowledge and skills before taking a course. All prerequisites are listed in the individual course descriptions. At
their discretion, instructors may dismiss students who do not meet the prerequisite criteria. If this happens, the course tuition is billed per payment agreement, and the
student does not receive credit for the course.« top
Pre-Class Work
Students must ensure they complete all pre-class work prior to taking a course. All pre-work, if applicable, is listed in the individual course descriptions. « top
Registration
Due to heavy demand and the limited availability of seats, we recommend training coordinators, managers, and students enroll as far in advance as possible. All students
must complete the registration form and submit payment authorization information for registration to be complete. Walk-in students are not accepted. « top

Payment is required at the time of registration. Acceptable payment methods include: major credit cards and purchase orders associated with sales contracts. For a purchase
order and/or sales contract (w/sales numbers), payments will be made to Aastra in accordance with that contract. « top
Contract Registration
In order to avoid being double-billed for training, when training is included in the purchase price of Aastra equipment, notify the Aastra Training Registrar that the
training is CONTRACTUAL, and provide the purchase order number when returning the registration forms and student information sheet.
We encourage you to complete Pointspan CORE training courses prior to implementation. Pointspan CORE courses include Pointspan Technical Overview,
Pointspan Station Database, Pointspan System Database, and Pointspan Operations & Maintenance. If
this is not possible, the courses should be completed at the earliest practical date. « top

training completion certificates for extensive tardiness or absences. « top

Business casual dress is the acceptable classroom attire. Clothing such as frayed jeans, undershirts, T-shirts, tank tops, and shorts are inappropriate. « top
