Objectives
At the end of this course, the student will have watched a presentation that:
  • Defined Unified Messaging
  • Demonstrated how to use a telephone to listen to voice mail, email and faxes
  • Demonstrated how to access their voice mailbox, record customized greetings and manage messages
  • Defined the capabilities of: Redirecting calls to voice mail, integrated E-mail messaging, Phone message retrieval, Integrated voice portal and auto login
  • Define common features used on the phones, such as; Callers List, Directory, Forward, Do Not Disturb, Speed Dial, Voice Mail, Call Pull and more
  • Demonstrates how Microsoft Outlook is used in the Unified Messaging platform
  • Demonstrates step by step how to access and use the Web Portal
Course Contents
This WVT will introduce students to the terminology used in the Clearspan Unified Messaging Platform. This course takes a step-by-step approach showing users how to access their voice mailbox, record custom greetings and how their phones, emails and faxes can be integrated. Students will see a variety of ways to retrieve and manage messages. This course will go over and explain many common features used on the Clearspan phones. Students will watch a demonstration of how Microsoft Outlook is used in the Unified Messaging platform. The final topic will take users on a tour of the Web Portal and will demonstrate how to use this powerful tool.
