| Prerequisites |
Participants must have thorough working knowledge of the following in order to successfully install and maintain the
Contact Management 2007 system:
- Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 Administrator functions.
- Configuration, installation and management of IIS.
- Hardware configuration experience.
- Proficiency in configuration and use of Active Directory.
- Ability to perform Network configuration regarding protocols and port settings.
- Proficiency in performing administrative functions for MS Exchange Server 2002/2003/2007, if applicable.
- Proficiency in performing administrative functions for Domino 6.0/6.5 Server, if applicable.
- Proficiency in performing administrative functions for Novell GroupWise, if applicable.
- Proficiency in performing PBX system administrative functions.
- Configuration and management of SQL Server 2000/2005/2008.

| Overview |
The course is a Configuration, Installation and Maintenance course for CMG 2007 technical training.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to install, configure, operate, maintain and troubleshoot Aastra Contact Management 2007.
CMG is a platform independent application suite that today supports most of the leading PBXs on the market including PBXs from Aastra, Alcatel, Avaya,
Cisco, Nortel, Philips, Siemens and Cisco Unified Communication Manager.
The multi PBX vendor support also means that the CMG system supports configurations with different PBX brands connected to one single CMG system. CMG
supports solutions for enterprise owned PBX solutions as well as for Hosted/Managed environments. This training is focused on the CMG platform integrated
with a MD110/MX-One.

Day 3
· Backup of CMG database
· Restore of CMG database
· Mail connection from NOW 2007 with SMTP/MAPI-protocol

| Main Objectives |
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the necessary pre-skills and knowledge required to successfully complete the installation and configuration of the Contact Management
2007 system.
- Provide an overview of the Contact Management 2007 System including components, interfaces, features and functions.
- Perform server and calendar integrations associated with the Contact Management 2007 including installations and parameter settings.
- Describe and use utilities to support the operation and maintenance of the Contact Management 2007.
